Picture Book Cinema: Once Upon a Time …
Experiencing and Reflecting on Art Together
Once upon a time... That's how many exciting stories begin.
Here at mumok, things are also getting exciting as we immerse ourselves in the lives and works of fascinating artists in our picture book cinema and recount their captivating adventures with our cool collection pieces!
We have good storytelling, the Japanese storytelling theatre Kamishibai and a lot of theatrical flair in our luggage, transforming our painting walls into a cinema screen and interactively exploring the experiments of Paul Klee, Alexander Calder, Henri Matisse and Sophie Taeuber-Arp.
Packed with insights into their past and artistic techniques, and with plenty of enthusiasm, colours, shapes and lots of colourful paper, our young visitors create their own works of art and write and draw their own creative stories in no time!
Creative story!
