Funded Projects

Based on the Creative Learning courses at mumok, the combination of practical programming, an examination of works of art and participatory media skills training is to be expanded as part of an outreach project. A system for digital participation and the acquisition of practical programming skills will be developed participatively with pupils and teachers from two schools and four classes in free regular courses over the course of two semesters. Additionally to the courses in the schools, we offer accompanying afternoon support courses for interested pupils in the museum.

Together with children and young adults, mumok’s Collection and Education Department focuses on participatory collection research within the framework of courses and workshops. Based on the principle of Citizen Humanities, museum processes will be analyzed and the collection holdings of the Ludwig Foundation will be explored. February 1, 2023 to February 1, 2024.

The project The Floor is Yours is a two-year public program resulting from the collaboration between Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam (lead partner), Mart, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto and mumok - Museum Moderner Kunst, Stiftung Ludwig, Vienna.
