Tolia Curriculum
TransArts
Students of the TransArts class with curators Magdalena Stöger and Leon Hösl invite you to gather for a reading in a collectively composed setting. The evening consists of elements from literary, visual, and material sources, tracing the contours of physical and mental interiors. A fragment of GIRL by Marietta Mavrokordatou becomes a shared point of reference that circles the impossibility of inhabiting the rooms of our childhood.
With students from the TransArts program at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (led by Stephan Hilge, Roman Pfeffer, Roswitha Schuller) and the curators Leon Hösl and Magdalena Stöger.
The event will be conducted in English and German.
Tolia Curriculum is a project conceived by Georgian artist Tolia Astakhishvili, unfolding as a daily schedule of workshops, lectures, screenings, readings, and participatory formats for children and adults. In the lead-up to Figure of the Child, her largest exhibition to date, Astakhishvili opens her production and installation process to the public as she develops her work in situ.
