Natalia Medebach, Shiatsu and Reiki, Mein Schatz – die Begegnung mit dem inneren Kind
Saturday, June 6, 2026, 11 am, 12, 2, 3 and 4 pm

Natalia Medebach invites visitors to encounter their own inner child. At the center of a chalk circle installation, she offers Shiatsu and Reiki—mindful touch techniques that help access childhood memories. Afterwards, participants are invited to draw a place of longing from the perspective of their inner child, integrating the flannel cloth on which the encounter took place into their drawing. Over the course of the day, a collective image of personal sites of fantasy emerges.

Natalia Medebach (b. 1973, St. Petersburg, Russia) lives and works in Graz. She is a conceptual artist working across painting, drawing, installation, and performative actions. She studied with Prof. Katharina Grosse at Berlin-Weißensee, among others, and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Since 2007, she has been a trained Zen Shiatsu practitioner, Reiki master, and Chi concept teacher. Her work explores invisible connections and visible separations, macro- and microworlds, multiplicity and unity.

The meeting point is the mumok entrance area on Level 0. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start and wear comfortable clothing. Each session takes place individually, lasts around 40–50 minutes, and is conducted in German.

Tolia Curriculum is a project conceived by Georgian artist Tolia Astakhishvili, unfolding as a daily schedule of workshops, lectures, screenings, readings, and participatory formats for children and adults. In the lead-up to Figure of the Child, her largest exhibition to date, Astakhishvili opens her production and installation process to the public as she develops her work in situ.
