Even before the opening of Figure of the Child, during the Tolia Curriculum, Level -2 was a place of hospitality, and it has remained one ever since. The architectural elements Tolia Astakhishvili conceived for this space have been continually brought to life over the past months, through conversation, music, shared meals, and listening.

With a karaoke night, free entry and an easygoing atmosphere set the tone for a night of singing together — a gathering open to anyone who wants to join in.

'second childhood' gathers a range of activities within the "hosting structures" Tolia Astakhishvili has created for Level -2 at mumok. Artists and initiatives whose work extends Astakhishvili's world beyond her exhibition Figure of the Child are invited to inhabit the space with formats of their own.
