mumok matinée petite
Young Music at the Museum
Never final!
Young music in a stimulating atmosphere: works from the 1960s and 1970s are performed, surrounded by paintings and objects from that period.
This time, pupils from Vienna's music schools will perform the Matinée petite as part of the exhibition Never final! The Evolving Museum.
„Never final!“ – this phrase, coined by Hertha Firnberg, continues to define the mumok as a dynamic place of change to this day. This idea is brought to life in the exhibition through an open format with interactive furniture and dialogue rooms that stage the museum as a platform for collective research, learning and questioning.
What can you expect?
The programme is traditionally announced shortly before the event, but one thing is certain: The Matinée petite always guarantees a lively concert experience for young and old alike!
