mumok, together with its long-standing partner Dorotheum, invites all visitors to enjoy a day of free admission. Discover our current exhibitions: Tobias Pils. Shh, The World of Tomorrow Will Have Been Another Present, Never Final! The Evolving Museum, Mapping the 60s. Art Stories from the mumok Collections, and Friedrich Kiesler. Endless House. Our Art Education & Knowledge Management team offers a diverse program for adults and families throughout the day.
Tour duration: 30–45 minutes
No registration required: Spots are allocated on a “first come, first served” basis. Meeting point: mumok foyer.
We warmly welcome your whole family to our Sunday Studio: Here, you can freely experiment together with various artistic techniques. No age restrictions.

We’ve prepared an exciting Riddle Rally for you! It will take you on a journey through the museum, where you’ll search for clues hidden among the artworks—equipped with your very own folder. Or perhaps the artworks themselves have something to tell you? Set off on your adventure, solve our riddles, and claim your reward—while supplies last!
The Riddle Rally is designed for children, teens, and the whole family, and is available in both German and English.

For ages 4 and up
Pick up your Children’s Art Transporter during your visit to mumok! You can roll it, carry materials in it, sit on it, or use its lid as a drawing surface. Inside, you’ll find pencils, paper, and suggestions for exploring the museum, along with creative prompts for an exciting exhibition experience. You can collect your Children’s Art Transporter at the mumok ticket desk during opening hours—while supplies last!
