Acclaimed New York poet and artist Ariana Reines joins us at mumok for a reading from her literary essay The Waiting Room. The event will be followed by a presentation of the new exhibition catalogue accompanying Terminal Piece, the museum’s major opening exhibition curated by Fatima Hellberg and Lukas Flygare.

About the Artist
Adriana Reines is an award-winning poet, playwright, and translator. Her newest books are The Rose (2025) and Wave of Blood (2024). A Sand Book won the Kingsley Tufts Prize in 2020 and was longlisted for the National Book Award. A new production of her Obie-winning play TELEPHONE was presented by Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble in 2026. In 2020, as a divinity student at Harvard, she founded Invisible College, a study hall for poetry, sacred texts, and the arts.
