Out of the Box

In six chapters, chief curator Rainer Fuchs illuminates each decade of the mumok's eventful 60-year history. The second part deals with the nineteen-seventies and the direction of Alfred Schmeller.

In the scope of the exhibition The Animal Within – Creatures in (and outside) the mumok Collection artist Frida Orupabo has contributed a work for our blog.

The texts for the children's audio guide accompanying the exhibition The Animal Within – Creatures in (and outside) the mumok Collection were created in cooperation with the children of the 4th grade of the Karl Löwe Gasse primary school.

Marietta Kesting and Constanze Rühm have curated a program for mumok cinema which is based on discussions, experiences, texts and sounds.
