In the 1980s Viktor Matejka gave to mumok his collection of newspaper cuttings, publications, autographs, and other collectables on various aspects of the art and culture of the 1950s to the 1980s.
The material was indexed by key words and collected in several hundred files. At present the majority of the material is being inspected, inventoried, and newly catalogued.
The Matejka Archive at mumok contains materials on a wide range of subjects, with newspaper cuttings and publications that provide an overview of the artistic, cultural, and cultural-political discourse from the late 1950s to the 1980s in Vienna.
