Welcome to the mumok online collection.

Some hints for making it easier to use:

The online collection is undergoing continuous expansion and at present contains around 4,000 works from the mumok collection.

You have the alternative of searching either by fulltext research or by artist name using the alphabetical index.

The left navigation bar will take you from a detailed view back to the start of the online collection.

Since many of the artworks are not unambiguously part of specific art movements, the mumok is not keyword indexed. Some of the works have tags attached — a work in progress — giving a further search option. For full search results please use the artist name search index.

Diacritical signs will not register in the search. Please search the artist index.

There are multiple illustrations to some of the works. This will be automatically indicated in the picture bar or the sequence may be stopped or moved on by using the right and left arrows.
