For seven years now, the mumok has been hosting an open workshop once a month. In this blog post we want to tell you about the long history of this popular format, share some contributions from participants and present current activities and projects - and last but not least invite you to join in.

Mikki Muhr has been realizing the format From a Feminist Viewpoint / Applying Feminisms at the mumok for about 15 years, most recently also in collaboration with JG Danso. In the context of Screenwise, the two write about the importance of intersectional-feminist approaches and feminist work in the context of art production and theory.

Artist Nilbar Güreş (born 1977 in Istanbul, Turkey), who grew up in Turkey, addresses the personal and societal constraints generated by heteronormativity. Some of her works are part of the exhibition mixed up with others before we even begin.
