The performance format walk+talk, which is as simple as it is ingenious, was devised by Viennese choreographer Philipp Gehmacher. Together with Gehamcher, choreographers have practised it very successfully since 2008 to “talk in and about movement” by using dance as well as language. Now it’s Maria F. Scaroni’s turn. The dancer-choreographer from Berlin has worked with Meg Stuart, Tino Sehgal and Vania Rovisco, among others, and has produced several original works.
