Where hospitality is concerned, a place transforms into more than one: yours and mine merge into one another and become something new. “‘This is your space and mine’ is not the same as ‘You are at my place’”, Alice Chauchat says at the beginning of this solo. The French choreographer based in Berlin believes that change is a good thing – she says so and dances it as well. Togethering is a casual thought experiment illustrating the concept of doing things collectively. “Telepathic dance” and delighting in poetry turn out to be particularly useful tools in Chauchat’s piece about reality and our projections of it.
