Have you felt the winter wind yet? It has already blown the leaves from the trees, but it also makes our wind things dance! And when there’s no wind, you can twirl yourself around and your colorful wind things flutter merrily along with you.
What you need:
Here we go!
Cut a wide strip from a thicker paper. We have taken a piece of a thick gray paper. Now prepare the colored ribbons. Cut a piece from your crepe paper roll. If you have several colors, your wind thing will be especially colorful. Use a tucker to attach the colorful strips next to each other on one edge of your paper strip. Leave a little bit of the crepe paper strip protruding, then even a stronger wind will not tear it off later. At the beginning and at the end of the paper you leave a little space. Turn it over and decorate it with patterns if you like. Then roll it up so that it forms a roll. Fasten the roll where the paper overlaps with staples from the tucker. It is best to do this twice, so that the paper holds well. Finally, cut a piece of a ball of wool and double the string. At the upper end of your wind thing you clip the wool so that it reaches like a handle across the roll. And the fluttering can start! Wow!
