Artist Dorit Margreiter talks about her work Short Hills (2000) in the exhibition The Limits of Our World curated by Matthias Michalka as part of the collection exhibition Enjoy – the mumok Collection in Change. On a simple wooden scaffold based on Friedrich Kiesler’s Leger und Träger hanging system for museums and galleries, a model landscape, along with television monitors and video projections, a photograph, and an architectural blueprint are arranged as if for an experiment. The installation refers to Dorit Margreiter's Chinese-born relatives who live in the US suburb of Short Hills.
