The 2015 mumok Exhibition Year

Annual Press Conference

mumok Director Karola Kraus and her Team presented Program for 2015 at the Annual Press Conference

The exhibition year at Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien begins with the presentation of one of the world’s most significant collections of Pop Art, then looks at the performative elements in Vienna Actionism, and continues with a third major show opening in October that will review artistic practices during the heady 1990s. Our program also includes solo exhibitions by David Lieske and Ulrike Müller, a presentation of our collection by Diedrich Diederichsen with Constanze Ruhm and students from the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, and a personal show by the Baloise Art Prize winner John Skoog. In 2015, the mumok kino is presenting a varied program with themed film series, solo and new screenings, and numerous projects in cooperation. The symposium “Aber etwas fehlt. But something’s missing.” on November 27 and 28 will address Marxist art history between potential and necessity, and will be one of our academic highlights for the year.
